5-0 out of 5 stars Knowledge is Power , a MUST READ!
Alot of folks love to criticize Bill Cooper. I personally think he was reporting truths from his experiences & information he got his hands on.He claims right up front that some info may not be accurate. He NEVER claims to be 100% accurate, and gives you his sources for the info, not just opinions. He took a stand to expose secret information he felt the public should know.Whether you agree with him or not, you've got to respect the man. He fought to get this book published & ultimately lost his life holding on to that "stand".It's risk-takers like him that gives us knowledge & information to see hidden truths.Thank you & God Bless you, Bill.Rest in Peace.

5-0 out of 5 stars your headed in the right direction...
This book is not for those who wish to continue living their monotonous and stressful lifestyles. This is meant to make you aware and to further draw your own conclusions.Critical thinkers only!!
3-0 out of 5 stars Interesting read! But don't rely on Google to discount this author!
I just want to say that this book allows you to draw your OWN conclusions from information a man was able to provide andbecause of that..i find this book interesting and a good read.As for his death, all deaths that look suspicious are NEVER suspicious. As for going on Google to find out about the "real" Cooper; let it be said that you need to do alot more research on someone than going to Google to take something as FACT! Google is NOT the most reliable source, it is simply what it is; A SOURCE OF INFORMATION. The book is worth the read. Especially the part of the book that speaks about FEMA; any one heard of LA riots, Katrina? He speaks on FEMA's role very candidly and we can use both these instances as to how true he was in this area of his book. But don't base your knowledge or interest on any of our reviews...read the book for yourself and make your own conclusion of an interesting read, ENJOY! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent ... a bit over the fantasy side at the end ...
But nevertheless, if correct, a very worth reading. disturbing... I've been reading a lot over these last months on the UFO topic and this book is paramount lecture. Anyway, there is a conclusion, proposed by Greer and some of the witnesses he interviews, stating the UFOS /ET are good beings and USA govt. is provoking them as they shoot them down, harrass them, etc. I digress ! They cannot have good intentions if they intrude our territory, mutilate our animals, abduct people, etc.I think that in drawing such conclusions the book fails in being objective and with common sense. That is why I give it 4 stars only.

5-0 out of 5 stars Disclosure.....5 stars easy!!
Hard to put down, difficult to condemn, almost impossible to ignore!!...Steven Greer has gone where others haven't had the balls, and placed his reputation on the line to bring the truth out...congratulations!! This is a fantastically researched book covering all facets of the U.F.O. phenomenon and a must read for everyone interested in the TRUTH.Whether or not this will be revealed to us in the near future is another matter, but the fact that extraterrestrial intelligence exists is no longer a question,it's just waiting to be proven en masse.Fantastic reading!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Massive, Barely Edited Compendium of Sometimes Tantalizing Stories
Dr. Steven Greer is a well-known figure on the fringe of UFOlogy, and he claims to have "briefed" senior government figures on the UFO issue, but five minutes with this book reveals why few take the issue seriously.

4-0 out of 5 stars Extratestrial Contact is real!!!
I thought Dr. Greer did a good job of organizing the various types of evidence supporting Alien interaction with our world. From scientists to engineers and really a complete cross section of our society and its abilities to observe the hidden world of Alien interaction.
5-0 out of 5 stars The Truth Is Right Here With Dr. Greer
I have been searching for the real truth about UFO and ET since my childhood (1970~), so far what I found was a mess and confusion; bad ET, good ET, alien invasion, abduction, mutilation, science fiction movies, etc... you know the rest.1-0 out of 5 stars This isn't even good science fiction
Occasionally, I like to get off the beaten path of my usual scientific reading and see what is happening in the arena of UFO research, which I believe is a phenomenon that is still open to question.I had understood that Steven Greer was at the forefront of this reasearch, so I was eager to pick up a copy of his book.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A very interesting hypothetical explanation of our creation/evolution?
Sitchin's theories are very interesting. He asserts that we (the human race) may be the result of a genetic engineering project undertaken to breed a race of slaves-supposedly engineered by combining the genetic material of an extraterrestrial race with that of indigenous primates. Fascinating theory. His evidence lies mainly in the interpretation of sumerian cuneiform hieroglyphics. He also does a good job of illustrating the parallels and origin, in and of respectively, all major contemporary religious systems.
5-0 out of 5 stars THE 12TH PLANET
ZECHARIA STICHIN HAS AN ANSWER FOR MOST OF THE HISTORICAL ENIGMA'S THAT HAVE PUZZLED MANKIND TO THIS DAY. HE USUALLY HAS AT LEAST TWO REFRENCES OF WRITTEN HISTORY TO CORABORATE HIS HYPOTISES AND, MUCH OF THE TIMETHE BIBLE MAKES THE THIRD. IT TAKES LIFE, AND THE HISTORY OF US AS HUMAN BEINGS TO A NEW PERSPECTIVE. HIS SIX BOOK SERIES "THE EARTH CHRONICLES" IS OUTSTANDING! A MUST READ FOR FREE THINKERS.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ontology
Z.Sitchin only interprets what he is reading. The "SEMANTICS" of our own Americanized English creates misunderstanding everyday...what does one think writings over 5,000 years will do? Especially, in a language by all accounts that is a dead language. This book gets 7 stars because it challenges the mainstream inexcusable belief system. Most people are spoon fed history never even questioning whether if it can be proven or not. Any "theory" can be invalidated. Since history is filled with supposition and conjecture, how can one embrace what one holds to be truth without empirical evidence? We can believe, think, even guess or for that matter ridicule our way at the truth but in the end we are no more wiser than a scholar who interprets ancients writings. Its a shame that people have to tear this man down using the guise of reviews. I think that Z. Sitchin in earnest pieces together a history that has been scattered. I also believe that the very thought that GOD is not some omnipotent/omniscient intelligence scares the hell out of people. In all fairness these writings are not Hollywood science fictions to be disregarded like some outrageous tabloids we find at the checkout line. These writings are hewn in stone set back in a time when the paradigm of that civilization can now only be understood if not in part by these very tablets. Let me add that I have read this book over 10 years ago and up until now I found no reason to influence or persuade/dissuade anybody but after reading some of the reviews it just seems unjust to let some of these meanderings go without my say on the matter....if this book seems misguided could it possibly be that just maybe the tablets that Z.Sitchin interprets may be what seems misguided. So if one can interpret Sumerian tablets and challenge the validity of Z. Sitchins works based on actual knowledge of the language not disdain of the subject then that would be a fair review. Otherwise...IT IS WHAT IT IS! Too all those who say Prove it...I say Prove that its not true...it cannot be proven or disproved just argued about. I recommend this book to those who are not satisfied with the same old hum drum rhetoric that church and state teach us. I liked this book so much that I bought another one....one more thing I see that the flat earth society still has some members. ... Read more

I remember seeing this movie as a boy and have been trying to track it down ever since. If you believe in something larger than this earth it's a must see. I give full marks to the movie, however the delivery time is ridiculous.I have been waiting over a month now. I have received a request to this review and I have STILL not received either the book or the movie. I remember the movie as I have seen it a number of times so the review is appropriate.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not such a stretch if you Think!
Mr. Sitchin has nothing to gain by espousing pseudoscience or pseudohistory. He would only stand to lose. Ancient History as a discipline has been proclaimed true to a great extent by proclamation that the "ancients"told us all. This is all well and good as a baseline. I have no quarrel with Herodotus or Tacitus.1-0 out of 5 stars Shame on Avon and Amazon.com

5-0 out of 5 stars A mind expanding book-Top notch!
Dr. Mack is brilliant in this book!He is most interested in how a person's life changes as a result of their anomolous experiences, mainly encounters with other worldly beings. These "experiencers" seem to have a jump start on the rest of us mortals, in terms of understanding the vastness of which we come from, and which we will return. An excellent book for anyone seeking to get closer to the TRUTH.

3-0 out of 5 stars Worthwhile read, but flawed conclusions.
Mack's done an overall good job pretaining to the UFO/abduction phenomena.I take exception however to his take home message that most if not all of the abduction experience is actually directly related to alien abduction and moreover that the aliens are benevolent and have our best interests at heart.
5-0 out of 5 stars Enemies?Or Friends?
These many reviews are interesting. It seems that the negative reviewers are offended at the idea - the very idea! - that aliens might actually be helping humanity. No, such reviewers seem more comfortable with the idea that aliens are out to destroy humanity, no doubt about it.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Takes the New out of New World
The Lost Realms is one of the most speculative and interesting books in Sitchin's Earth Chronicles series. The ruins and structures of Egypt and the Near East have been wondered at and studied for centuries, and there is a veritable wealth of information from Near Eastern papyri, stelae, monuments, and similar artifacts. The ruins of Mesoamerica have largely been rediscovered only in the past couple of hundred years; indeed, unknown wonders surely remain hidden by South America's dense jungles. The immensely important records and artifacts of New World societies such as the Mayan, Inca, and Aztec civilizations were for the most part lost and destroyed at the hands of greedy Spanish conquistadors, and further site degradation has resulted from the pilfering of ancient stones by recent natives of the area for use in the construction of their own buildings. Thus, the earliest history of the lower Americas remains frustratingly impossible to understand. We are left with giant edifices with significant similarities to Near Eastern constructions in size, orientation, and purpose, many of them seemingly containing very advanced structures built for unknown purposes.Even the age of the artifacts is hotly debated, with many scientists refusing to believe scientific findings point back to as early as 2000 B.C.5-0 out of 5 stars The Lost Realms
There are many pieces of the puzzle of our existence in the universe that I had figured out, or "seen", but there were still dots that I could not connect, gaps I could not fill in. When I read this book it was like deja vu, a recollection of things stored in our genetic memory/code long forgotten through evolution, now recalled causing gasps of recollection. This book logically and scientifically filled in the gaps. It makes sense, it all fits. Sitchin's bibliography to support his research is tremendously extensive and impressive. I recommend it highly for the searching mind, and have given copies as gifts to many friends and associates.

4-0 out of 5 stars The best Sitchin book so far.
Although I have difficulty with some of the pat answers Mr. Sitchin gives in this book, I think that it has the most solid scholarship I've seen in any of his writings to date.I would also recomend Micheal Cremo's "Forbiden Archeolgoy." ... Read more

Zecharia Sitchin's Earth Chronicles series is based on the premise that mythology is not physiologically based, psychologically metaphorical, or culturally allegorical but rather the repository of ancient memories, and that the Bible ought to be read as a historical scientific document. While the debate regarding the origins of myth is far from conclusive, and the dangers of assuming that the subjectivity of the reader/researcher will not intervene are obvious, Stitchin Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars The Real Mind Boggling Questions remain un-answered
I do agree with many reviewers that Sitchin's work provides a "new" angle, and for many, a new vision, to understand the mythology and religius theories of "beginning", history and "end". His premises might have been "mind boggling" for many a readers. There are, off course, good reasons for that. However, his having convincing reasons to establish new concepts while exploring and explaining religius traditions and myths, he has not been able to even slightly touch the most important questions asked by most curious human minds in all known human history. I would like to mention a few of them here in most simplest terms:
5-0 out of 5 stars Book III of the Earth Chronicle series
To be honest, I have not yet starting reading this book. This is the 3rd book in the Earth Chronicle series.I am currently reading the second book and devoured the first book. The 12th Planet is the first book and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in ancient civilization and human culture, its art and deep historic meaning shed light where our current culture provides ignorant knowledge.Sitchin is classic within metaphysical circles and is essential in educating oneself about the 'Gods' and the truth concerning mythlogical origins on our planet. Sitchin's gift is his ability to analyse ancient text directly and logically and then take it to a much higher level than popular culture can even imagine.

1-0 out of 5 stars A war against sanity, more like!
This is more like a war against sanity than a war against dogma and narrow-mindedness. It is completely crack-pot stuff, and anyone who parts with hard-earned money to buy it, thinking to be led to some new revelation, is to be pitied. The alleged "scholarship" is dead wrong, the "scientific" methodology either laughable or non-existant, depending on one's point of view, and the overarching premises simply crazy. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Sensible solution to the mystery of religions
Being and agnostic most of my life and an athiest now at age 80, I think Bramley makes more sense than the theories of how most of our so-called religions have evolved. How else can one explain the contruction of the pyramids, Stonehenge, the Lost City of Atlantis that Aristotle talked about or the so-called miracles in the Bible? Bramley does not adequately describe what the aliens are using us slaves for. What are we human beings doing for the aliens? Why are they directing us to total globalism? I am reading this book a second time to see what answers I might have missed, because Bramley has really proven his theories quite well. People with open minds, free of dogma, will enjoy reading this.

Editorial Review

If you've ever wondered what crashed into the desert near Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947, this book will give you some startling answers. While the first version was published in hardcover in 1997, Corso provides new evidence for the presence of alien intruders in this pocket paperback edition. Whether or not you believe his contention, the sheer weight of governmental sources and documentation presented by the former Army intelligence officer is not easily dismissed. Once you understand the historical context (in the midst of the Cold War soon after World War II, with Orson Welles having recently inspired panic in citizens with his fictional War of the Worlds radio broadcast), the military deciding to cover up a real-life alien ship becomes more credible. Corso also gives a convincing explanation of why reports were so multi-various and conflicting. Even if you believe the book is utter fiction, it's still a compelling read. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent! Highest credible source of verifiable information.
This is an excellent book. Mr. Corso's experience as a nuclear defense commander, white house National security advisor to Pres. Eisenhower for 4 years, then assigned to the Pentagon in the Army R&D division and then as National security advisor to 2 senators makes him a highly reputable and credible source.

5-0 out of 5 stars A summary of the Earth Chronicles
Sitchin's series of books is time consuming to read. However, this book is a very nice summary of his theories. He summarizes much of what takes pages and pages to present in the books of the Earth Chronicles series. Not sure as to the validity of Sitchin's assertions, but they sure are interesting. Faithful Christians will probably find this book blasphemous. Free thinkers will enjoy it a great deal!!

5-0 out of 5 stars 90 % good book
90% of this book is good info the bibical genesis info is wrong and man being genetically altered from a already pre-existing evolved cromagnan man is far fecthed..sitchin is on to alot of right things. worth the read!!!!!!! make your ownconclusions for how things began. another angle piece to the puzzle of life..

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Of Sitchin, the Highlights, should be subtitle
Begin at the beginning, is a good general rule, which this book follows. Also, I happened to read this book before the author's earlier books, which I read later, out of linear sequence. If you are a student of the Bible, or history in general, this book is like having an encyclopedic cliff note version and speaks to the who, what, where of ancient history on eridu (earth)...at least from the Sumerian perspective, the culture that apparently

2-0 out of 5 stars So-so history.
Forbidden History edited by J. Douglas Kenyon feels very much like a bunch of people tooting their own horns. Not that some of it wasn't interesting - the questions they ask about prehistory, the origins of civilization and the technologies of the past need to be answered.Yet when whole chapters deal with such subjects as Darwin's missing link between apes and men (which is a creation, a myth, of the media and has nothing to do with Darwinism), aliens breeding with mankind and the lost city of Atlantis (or cities as everybody seems to think it is somewhere else) it is hard to take seriously. One chapter says there is proof that there was no ice age but there really were floods when another chapter uses the ice age as part of their arguments. In other words they embrace facts that help them and dismiss facts that don't - just what they say the other mainstream scientists are doing.
4-0 out of 5 stars A lot of great theories!!
There is a LOT of great things in this book.
1-0 out of 5 stars Great fiction
There's nothing really scientific on this book. It's only a great fiction work really. Almost comic most of the time. Have that in mind when you read it! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A True Story of Miracle Healings
I enjoyed reading the book. The book was suggested to me by a friend. The writer confirmed much of what I have already come to understand and believe. However, the writer also provided additional information and methodology for developing and practicing the concepts. The book met my expectations and I have already passed it along to someone else I think would enjoy reading it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Rock your world view w Voyagers series
Ever felt like you didn't quite fit on planet earth with the mind numbing, never-ending routine of trivia that fills up our lives? Not to mention the obvious dirth of information about why we are here, where we came from and where we might be headed. If this even remotely describes feelings that you have struggled with most of your life then do yourself a favor and buy this book. It is intense, complex and sometimes difficult to read but if you stick with it you will be rewarded. This book will definitely help you decrease your level of ignorance about yourself and life on the planet - you can replace tired and worn out stories about human history with a good solid knowledge about what really happened. 5-0 out of 5 stars Let it speak for itself...
I have looked high and low through countless new age books and Voyagers was the first book that really fofilled my sense of longing. After every other book I had read, I found myself still searching, but after Voyagers, I no longer needed to search. That is not to say that everything you ever needed to know can be found in this book, it is more of an introduction to a larger body of work where you can find information on everything you wanted to know, and then some. If you are genuinely looking for answers, then don't take my word for it, or any one else's for that matter... just read it for yourself and decide for yourself if it is right for you.

Editorial Review

One of the charms of Zecharia Sitchin is his tendency to take ancient writings as fact as opposed to myth. For example, according to clay tablets discovered by archeologists, Gilgamesh, a king of ancient Sumeria, was punished by the gods for raping female subjects on their wedding day--a particularly naughty, though not uncommon, pastime of ancient royalty. Snickering, the tricky gods created a double of him, which, as you can imagine, created havoc in the king's life. Some time later, directed by his goddess mother, Gilgamesh walked with his double to Lebanon to attain immortality. Sitchin ponders that perhaps the double had superhuman strength and en route built a second Stonehenge discovered in the Golan Heights by Israelis during the 1967 Six Days War. Hmmm. As Sitchin concedes, there's really no way to tell who actually built this hoary structure, but the in-depth archeological and historical research gathered here to support his musings concerning an extraterrestrial secret code to construct humankind is fascinating beyond belief. 1-0 out of 5 stars Misunderstandings and baseless assertions Ahoy!
For all those praising the academic/scholastic merit of this work, yours must have a detailed references section that the one I picked up seems to lack.I would give him a D- and a "See Me!" had this had shown up on my desk.Someone should point out to him that evolution has no direction, as if we were destined to get to this point and are no longer evolving.Be careful of the plethora of misunderstandings and baseless assertions that can destroy a person's capacity to think about humans at all scientifically, historically, or otherwise. If you're incredulous of my own assertions, please research anything in Sitchin's works. You will have done more research than he likely did, and could even cite it.Don't take one sourceless book's word for it! You'll find planet X (Tiamat?) prophesies, space stations made of rocks, and millions of years of evolution very slightly co-opted by extra-terrestrials less believable than you once did. There are, after all, enough actual mysteries in the world. We don't need another convoluted theory that creates far more problems than it solves. It's no fluke that these books have made no waves in challenging any anthropological or historical constructions of earlier periods of humanity, areas of knowledge that are constantly modified by actual scholarship. It's also no fluke that these books are marginally profitable, and they keep being released, expanding upon the baseless foundation with even more baseless structure rather than defending the indefensible first works. As far as I'm concerned, if he's one of the few who can decipher those texts, he's abusing his position for financial gain, and could easily be ousted in the genre by a legitimate scholar.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Companion
Waiting for Sitchin's new books, is like waiting for the next Episode of Star Wars. It just can't come soon enough. This is an excellent companion volume to the Earth Chronicle series and sheds additional light. The more you read, the more you ask; Are we more like the Anunnaki or are they more like us? Good book!

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth reading

5-0 out of 5 stars SCARY AS HELL!!!!
I LOVED THE MOVIE BASED ON THIS BOOK SO I DECIDED TO BUY & READ THE BOOK FOR MYSELF. I THOUGHT I WOULD READ IT WHEN I WAS UP ALONE LATE ONE NIGHT AFTER MY HUSBAND HAD GONE TO BED. THAT WAS NOT SUCH A GOOD IDEA! THE BOOK SCARED ME MORE THAN THE MOVIE DID! I AM NOT SAYING THAT I ACCEPT EVERYTHING IN THIS BOOK ASPURE FACT, BUT I DO BELIEVE IN THE SUPERNATURAL AND IT CAN BE VERY, VERY SCARY. AT ANY RATE, WHETHER THIS BOOK IS TRUE OR NOT IT IS VERY INTERESTING & A VERY GOOD & EASY READ. I JUST DON'T RECCOMEND THAT YOU READ IT WHEN YOURE UP ALONE LATE AT NIGHT. IT MIGHT JUST GIVE YOU THE CREEPS LIKE IT DID ME. I WAS SPOOKED FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT AND PART OF THE NEXT DAY! THE EVENTS IN THIS BOOK ARE VERY BIZAREE & CREEPY!!!!!! (JUST A FAIR WARNING!!!!) BUT LIKE I SAID IT WAS A VERY GOOD READ. 5 STARS.

Although I realize at the time it was written, politically correctdescriptions of people were not the same as today, yet some of these things are too strong to be overlooked. The following descriptions are honestly found in the book:
